About this site - it's mission
| This site is intended to be a reference for
anyone interested in escaping "Rip Off" Britain (or anywhere else for that
matter) and heading for the sunnier side of life, with tips on buying and renovating
property in Spain. It will also serve as a meeting point and information exchange for
like-minded people and expatriates through our discussion forum. The site will also chronicle our efforts to buy, restore and renovate a house in the Almeria province of southern Spain. When first embarking on this project we searched the internet for various information, from lawyers to building regulations to opening a Spanish bank account, and had little success. So as we go along we'll add any relevant information we uncover (either from the internet, books or personally) here on this site. |
